are there usually florist shops in airports? I want to buy some roses for my mate when I get off the plane.

why do so many people **** airports cause I LOVE them.

I fly out of two airports (KBDR and KHPN) and would like to subscribe via RSS to the current METAR (airport weather observation) and TAF (aerodrome forecast) for these two airports. But I haven’t been able to find any source for METAR and TAF via RSS. Can you help?

I need a bit of help. I need an airport that can give me a round trip from California in the United States to Rwanda in Africa. I’ve googled a lot of airlines and airports and flight plans. But, I can’t seem to find an airport that can take me from Cali to Rwanda. :/ Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

In some airports, you walk into an open closet like structure with clear glass door in front of you. Air jets sway around your exterior clothing looking for the presence of explosive materials. It only takes a few seconds, but I was wondering if anyone knew the chemical in the air to detect the explosives?
Thanks

Some travellers are subjected to undergo additional security requirements at the airports and in a laymans explanation, it is the glass cubicle where the person stands and the air blows through several vents around that person. What is in that air or vapour if you will, that determines the person as a potential risk? How does that system and technology work?

i was reading about different plane accidents between small planes and airliner planes (the big ones not the express ones).

most of these accidents either happened on the runway or during landing.

it just seems like the small planes should either have their own side of the airport where they can take off and land or they just need to use regional airports and not international/domestic airports where the bigger planes are.

what do you think?
well i hope those inexperienced atc people are not gonna be there august 12th cause i go home that day and i dont want to die (major fear of flying).

Airport noise is certainly a negative externality, why would people choose to live near airports?
Airport noise is certainly a negative externality, why would people choose to live near airports? actually asker wants to know what are the benefits of living near airport. Why they live near airport if there is noise pollution?

You have in certain countries one has to drive miles to reach airports. Which do you prefer, build them in the cities and risk an accident killing scores of people or find a secluded area with a wide expanse of water or near an ocean?

How do you get to the correct terminals in large airports without getting lost?
